Welcome Credit

Every new account gets $10 of free credit as soon as its email address is confirmed. No card, no code, no claim step.

What the welcome credit is

A one-time credit, granted once per account. Its purpose is to let you build and test something real before spending your own money: $10 covers hundreds of messages on a small model.

How it is granted

You don't do anything. The credit lands in your wallet the moment your email address is confirmed:

  • Signed up with email and password — click the link in the verification email.
  • Signed up with Google — Google has already verified the address, so the credit is there when you first arrive.

There is no notification and nothing to accept. Open the wallet from the top bar, or Profile → Billing, and the balance is already there.

note

Until September 2026 this was a $5 bonus that required saving a payment card first. Saving a card is no longer part of it — the credit now arrives with the account.

Eligibility

One credit per account, and it cannot be claimed twice. Beyond that, Flowera applies the usual anti-abuse checks: a confirmed email address and a real (non-disposable) email domain. Accounts that don't pass simply don't receive the credit; everything else works normally.

Where it appears

  • As BONUS in your transaction history, with its own description.
  • Added to your wallet balance in the top bar.

It does not appear in the Usage Dashboard, which tracks consumption rather than money in. A balance that doesn't match your usage is usually explained by a bonus.

How it is spent

Welcome credit is spent like any other credit in your wallet — you don't have to do anything to prefer it.

It does not expire, so there's no reason to hold off signing up until you're ready to build. (Credit from a time-limited campaign promotion is the one kind that does carry an expiry date — that is shown on the transaction itself.)
